Why Clinical Pilates ?

Aliağa Klinik Yer Duvar Pilatesi

While clinical pilates exercises increase awareness of the spine in neutral position, it provides a proper posture by strengthening the deep postural muscles.

The clinical pilates method has 8 basic principles; Concentration, breathing, centering, focus, control, fluidity in movement, isolation and routine.

When these principles are applied correctly in the exercise program, core stabilization is achieved. With the correct use of clinical pilates principles, core stabilization is controlled while improving static and dynamic posture, body awareness and static/dynamic balance.

Clinical pilates and therapeutic exercises provide flexibility, normal joint movement, muscle strength and endurance.

Clinical pilates is a type of exercise that can cause injuries if its basic principles are not done correctly.

Therapeutic exercises should be modified and planned and taught and performed under the supervision of a physiotherapist.

Clinical pilates and especially therapeutic exercises are used in different disease groups besides healthy individuals. It is one of the body-mind exercises that can be used in specific patients such as back pain, neck pain, posture disorders, orthopedic injuries, neurological problems (Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's), rheumatological diseases, cancer, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, pregnancy.
